Personal Statement about Training Program: I am a Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapist and Certified Focusing Trainer offering individual, couple and family therapy and Inner Relationship Focusing workshops in Seattle Washington. My experience with Focusing dates back to the early 80's. I continue to study Focusing with Ann Weiser Cornell and others. It is a process that is transformational personally and is the heart and soul of my work with others. My formal education has included art, philosophy, religion and psychology. I have a master's degree in Existential Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University (1986). I have pursued advanced training in Family Systems Therapy, Adlerian Psychology and Inner Relationship Focusing. I bring a gentleness, warmth and sense of humor to my teaching and therapy. The beauty of nature and the love of my family endlessly encourage me.
