Personal Statement about Training Program:
I care about human potential, and how Focusing facilitates creative evolution. The intricate and rich possibilities that unfold from a person's Focusing experience is what makes me enjoy teaching Focusing. I am a Focusing Oriented Psychotherapist. As a practitioner of Contemplative/Clinical Psychology for over twenty years, I am particularly interested in the relationship between Focusing and Buddhist Psychology, Neuroscience, Analytic and Somatic Psychology. I use Focusing to help people heal from addiction, depression, chronic pain, stress, trauma and marital conflict. I integrate Focusing with various modalities. The Focusing attitude underlies my work with others in support of felt community. TAE, another interest of mine, has influenced my personal creative thought process. I teach Focusing seminars in creative ways to address the specific interests of participants.
