Personal Statement about Training Program:
I have been practising Focusing since 2004 and have found it of great personal benefit. As long as I can remember I have been interested in philosophy, psychology and spirituality. Many insights have come along the way but few things changed in me. Then I came across Focusing. I did not know what it was, but attended a level 1 course and something clicked. This Focusing was not necessarily about gaining more insight but about experiencing the deeper truth inside us and allowing it to change the inner self.
Focusing gave me the tools to feel safe with my emotions and deeper feelings. This in itself brings so much freedom and inner peace.
Focusing can also be a starting point for practising the spiritual insights from people such as Eckhart Tolle and Anthony de Mello. We are very fortunate to live in a time when the insights and tools for change are available to whoever is interested.
