After the first Conference on Focusing with children we can give more structure to Children's Focusing Corner, a worldwide platform to spread out the focusing work with children.

ChFC is a workgroup of the International Focusing Institute, the international Organization for Focusing.

The first International Conference on 'Children’s Focusing' was a great success, there were 75 participants, all of whom are bringing children focusing into the world.

The following are details of  The second International Conference.

First of all this information is meant for you.
I would also ask you to pass this information on to anyone who might be interested, like students of focusing courses, colleagues, etc.

You can make as many photocopies as you need and hand them out or mail them.
You could let me know how many information sets you need, so that I can send these to you for distribution.

Salgótarján
Salgótarján is a small town in the North of Hungary, about 120 kilometers North-East of Budapest.  The town detoriated during Communist times, and is not really a beautiful place. The Conference complex, where we shall be staying, however, is in a beautiful spot a mountainside, where wonderful walks are available.  It has a type of hotel-building, containing single and double rooms.   The accommodation and meals are Hungarian, so you will receive a warm welcome and will feel well looked after, but please don't expect luxury.  An excursion to Hollókô, a very pleasant and beautiful old town with a museum, is included in the program, where we will dine on that occasion.  This excursion included in the fee, as we consider it to be part of the Conference.

Family
It is a possibility to bring your partner, family, children to the Conference, where child minders are available. Naturally this will involve a price increase for accommodation and meals, both cultural events (if desired), child minder (if required).  These extra costs can be paid  there and then.

Practical information
Reporting arrival at for the Conference will take place on Saturday October 21st 2000, 14.00 - 15.45 hours.
The Conference will take place from Saturday October 21st 2000, 16.00 hours.
Official Opening up to and including Wednesday October 25th, 2000, 13.30 hours, after lunch.

After registration you will receive a confirmation plus an itinerary and travel information from Budapest.

On request we will add information about accommodation in an inexpensive hotel in Budapest, if you want to stay in Budapest before or after the Conference.

Conference fees
Conference fees are: US$350, DM 650, £ 215, DFL 725, Forints 25.300 (only for those who speak Hungarian)

This fee pays for: the conference, accommodation and meals, coffee/tea (without beverages), plus the excursion to Hollókô,  incl. dinner.
If you wish to have a single room, this will cost you an extra US$ 45, DM 75, £ 27, DFL. 85, Forints 2500.

It is possible to cancel up to 30 days before the start of the Conference 50% of the fee will then be returned to you.

Bank costs are to be paid by the participant.
