Programme of  'Children's Corner' International Conference 21 –25 October 2000
DAY-PROGRAM

  1. This Conference is meant for those who have taken 2 focusing courses (36 hours).
  2. It is only possible to participate in the whole Conference.
  3. The program comprises:
    ·  Plenary meetings: 15 minute Contributions concerning the theme of the Conference
    ·  Learning groups a choice can be made between A, B, C, D:

    A.
    parents and others: to be with children in a focusing way, to guide them in focusing and to teach them to focus
    B.
    teachers and group workers: 'Clearing a space' in the classroom and in other groups, and guiding children in focusing on a one to one basis
    C.
    professionals, who work with children on a one to one basis, Focus-trainers, child therapists and others:  To guide children in focusing on a one to one base and to use focusing in child-psychotherapy
    D.
    focus-trainers, who have experience in working with children: to learn to train others in above mentioned subjects
    E.
    there may be a Hungari    an children's group for focusing (above 10 years)

    ·  Selfexperience, Fixed selfexpe-rience groups in the mother tongue with a focus trainer as groups facilitator, in which the experiences of the day can be discussed with the opportunity to focus.
  4. In Plenum the working languages will be English and Hungarian, and where necessary there are German interpreters.
    ·  The learning groups A, B, C are English / Hungarian, or German Hungarian.
    ·  Learning group D will only be English / Hungarian.
    ·  The focusing / self-reflection groups will be held in the appropriate language, and on demand in another language.
