Conversations:
Focusing keeps getting “carried forward” in rich and vibrant ways, to new endeavors, new fields, new areas. One of the goals of this website is to convey the many ways this is happening… as an invitation to be open to new uses of Focusing for further personal or professional development.

The “Conversations” section does this, not through written documents, but with the immediacy of the spoken word. It could also be called the “Focusing Talk Radio”. Every other month, a new “conversation” is added, as an audio recording that you can listen to on the website, or download to play on your computer or MP3 player.
While each conversation is meant to stand on its own, this project is also meant to be an ongoing exploration of how to talk about focusing. Little by little, as conversations occur, we will be paying attention to how we describe what happens in the process of focusing. We will especially do so when talking with people who use focusing in ways that reach into different areas than the ones focusing has traditionally been associated with. By virtue of these activities being different from traditional focusing, this helps us be able to talk in a variety of ways about what happens in the Focusing process.
Please share with us your ideas and experience on this topic through the Focusing Institute Facebook page, or the contact form.
The host for these conversations is Serge Prengel, a focusing-oriented therapist/lifecoach in New York City.
