We have a new look! The TFI website has been redesigned and many of the key pages have been updated. The site has a simpler home page with a new logo, new text and a new visual desingn. We have also added improved navigation features including an updated search box that can now be easily found and a special page for newcomers.

Twenty models of training (MOT) have been
collected and are now available on the website. Certifying Coordinators and
Trainers each have a somewhat different program for teaching and training
their students as Focusing Professionals, and we value this diversity. We
are pleased to present some of these models on our website.

12/2010 Effect of "Clearing a Space" on Quality of Life in Women with Breast Cancer A pilot study about the effect of Clearing a Space on life quality of women with breast cancer which demonstrated that the telephone was as effective a delivery method as in person sessions. This article was written by Joan Klagsbrun, Susan Lennox and Lauren Summers and the study was carried out by six certified Focusing Trainers from New England. The study was published in the United States Association of Body Psychotherapy Journal in November 2010 vol 9 no 2. and it was awarded the Alice Ladas outstanding research award in Body Psychotherapy for 2010.
