Sessions 1, 2, 3. 4, 5, 6
Session 1: Explores an alternative to the violence within and around us by
learning how to take care of our feelings. In this session we learn important
steps that can guide us in following our feelings deep down into our bodies
where we can feel our unique spirit being born.
Session 2: How can we risk owning what is real inside our bodily knowing?
This session teaches a body way of being present, with a gentle, caring openness
toward feelings we often push away, reject or try to control. When we can "own"
what is real without running away, then this place inside can be a teacher
rather than an enemy - becoming an important bridge connecting us into the
gifted wisdom and energy of the Larger Body.
Session 3: Learning more practical ways to create an inside environment that
allows us to hold and listen to our scary and hurting places.
Session 4: The Felt Sense. There is always a story waiting to be listened to
inside my body whenever I notice feelings, sensations, and "felt senses." My
body has its own language through which it wants to talk to me.
Session 5: Focusing Steps #1, 2, & 3: Finding a Space by Taking an Inventory;
Feeling which One is Number One; Is it OK to be with it?
Session 6: Focusing Steps #4, 5, & 6: Letting Go into it, Just being in it,
Sensing the Whole of it; Allowing it to Express itself; The Nurturing period.
