Teleconference: Focusing and Meditation: A Conversation with Gene Gendlin and David Rome moderated by Ann Weiser Cornell

Teleconference on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 4 PM Eastern time

In connection with Tricycle Magazine's interview with Gene Gendlin and article by David Rome in their next issue, the Focusing Institute is creating a program with a range of opportunities to learn more about Focusing.

The kickoff event is the Teleconference "Focusing and Meditation: A Conversation with Gene Gendlin and David Rome, moderated by Ann Weiser Cornell" on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 4 PM Eastern time. The call will be for 90 minutes, with the option to stay on the line for 30 minutes afterward at no extra charge, for small group discussions. This is the first time Gene, David, and Ann have ever appeared together, and it will probably be the only time. It's a not-to-be-missed opportunity to have your questions answered about exactly what happens at the interface between these two powerful practices. Even if you are not available on September 25, you'll have access to the course recordings as mp3 downloads to listen to whenever you want.

In connection with the teleconference, we have created a series of training packages:

Teleconference only: Focusing and Meditation: A Conversation with Gene Gendlin and David Rome, moderated by Ann Weiser Cornell. Date and time: Sunday, September 25, 2011. 4 PM Eastern time. $39.

Get Your Feet Wet: The teleconference plus two follow-up 90 minute group teleclasses with Mary Goodman, PhD, a transpersonal therapist and Buddhist Focusing teacher with many years' experience in the application of Focusing to meditation. Deep Learning: The teleconference and both teleclasses, and 5 individual sessions with a Buddhist Focusing teacher experienced in the use of Focusing with meditation. With this package participants can build a very solid foundation in the practice of Focusing as applied to meditation. The individual instruction can be completely tailored to individual circumstances and needs, while the group classes will allow participants to learn from the questions others have, as well. $559.
