Sustaining Global Felt Community during Stressful Times CONNECTION>CONVERSATION>COMMUNITY
The TIFI Membership Committee is pleased to introduce this series of Focusing Roundtables especially for members of the Institute. We hope that this program and those to come will afford members a valuable opportunity to engage in casual peer-to-peer conversation with other members who share Focusing-related interests.
Who should attend? All members interested in creating global felt community with deep listening and sharing about how the current political climate is impacting our lives.
What to expect: Each Focusing Roundtable is designed to promote informal peer-to-peer conversation. Rather than acting as expert presenters, the Hosts will serve as conversation moderators to encourage sharing and exploration of the topics from the participants’ own perspectives. All participants’ sharings are welcome and valuable, no matter what level of experience or knowledge you have on the topic. To preserve the nature of informal conversation, the program will be offered live only and no recordings will be available. Registration is limited to 20 members on a first-come, first served basis. Participants are encouraged to create follow up opportunities for connection among themselves after the Roundtable.

This Roundtable will create a safe space for our community to freely share our experiences of life, post 2016 elections in the USA. In a Focusing way we will explore the far reaching impact of this election felt all over the world.
While we will not be discussing politics, we will be opening to the experiential underbelly. Just a few possible questions we might explore together are:
What were your reactions and feelings right after the election?
What is your felt sense of the situation now?
As you sit with the question of how to live forward in the changed political environment, what comes for you?
What resources can we tap to navigate the complexities in front of us?
If these or related questions intrigue you, we hope you will join us for this Roundtable. Bring your own experiences, questions and curiosity!
Zoom: This conversation will take place on an online video conference service called Zoom. Please attend by computer so that we can have your video presence as well as your audio. Calling in by phone is also possible but not preferred.
Price: The host and co-hosts are volunteering their time in order that this program may be brought to members of TIFI at no charge.
